Controlled Burnout & Bake Ovens

Our Equipment is temperature controlled to provide a tightly regulated control of (+/-5) with a maximum degrees F

Kurz follows a standardized motor repair process across our Wisconsin repair locations to deliver consistent quality, documentation, and customer experience on every repair. Our in-shop standards are designed to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications while supporting long-term asset reliability.

Every traditional motor repair is supported by controlled repair procedures, documented winding data, quality input material checks, precision machining, electrical validation, and final mechanical fit and form testing. For motor rebuilds and rewinds, Kurz uses a Class N insulation system rated for 200°C, providing a higher thermal standard for demanding industrial applications.

Our repair standards include Class N insulation, vacuum pressure impregnation or varnish dipping, commutator profiling, PDMA testing, controlled burnout and bake oven processes, EASA winding techniques, and detailed customer repair specifications.
