Fun fact: With our kids five years out of the house, we have more time for ourselves! I enjoy volunteering for Special Olympics events in northern Illinois. We enjoy domestic and international travel, we also enjoy cooking at home, especially with fresh vegetables from our garden. We like having friends and family over for meals and more!

Fun fact: I was born in Southern Illinois and raised in central Wisconsin. I joined the military a year after 9/11 and served for 13 years. I was a Chaplains Assistant for all 13 years. Basically a bodyguard for the Chaplain. Most fun I had was when I was stationed in Korea for 15 months. I loved the culture, environment, people, and food. If I could I would move back there in a heartbeat. Coffee is a passion of mine. Anything to do with coffee is a subject I can get lost on. I have been called a coffee snob and I am proud of it. I am married to a wonderful woman and have four kids. My wife is educated in American Sign Language as an interrupter. She has a passion for the deaf community. We live in Greentown, IN.
